Finished! Unfortunately I had to leave a few things off and change some things around (bit annoyed about not being able to fit the authors name on there anywhere) for it to look okay, but I think it turned out pretty good anyway. Even got the little Harper Collins logo in.
A little charm of my favourite book, (Looking for Alaska!) that I made myself. I had the little sculpey book charm made from a few weeks ago, and I painted it all today.
Probably took 2-3 hours all up, and was mostly painted with a pin.
They are playing a song about Phineas Gauge on the radio!
I am very impressed.
To me, this is what a book should look like. This is my absolute favourite book ever and I hardly ever leave the house without it. My favourite thing about its appearance is that it looks loved. I refuse to use bookmarks, so pages that I like are dogeared. Its pages are yellowing even though its only a year old, and the cover is slightly worn. Don’t get me wrong - I’m gentle with my books, but the amount that this book gets used makes it look like this, and I just love that.
so I just sort of got overwhelmed by how much I admire/appreciate John Green and started crying.
I love the peak in people googling ‘is hank green awesome’ when he told us to.
Don’t forget to be awesome.
Sometimes I’m just a little weirded out by just how attractive I find 23-year-old John.
John’s reaction to this photo was priceless.
I’m going to start with my foundation, of course, and I’m going to be do most of this video with my glasses off and you will say “oh my god hank, you look so weird with your glasses off.” - Hank Green, Make-up Tutorial: Katniss Everdeen Look
Oh my god, Hank! You do look so weird with your glasses off.
John has MOVES.

I decided to make a John one. It shouldn’t amuse me as much as it does.
